Skin Moulding / Foil Processing

The skin moulding system used by KURTZ is one of the leading refining processes for EPS and EPP mouldings. Mouldings can be foamed and coated with film in one working step in the same machine.

Dependent on the finished product the foil is supplied to the machine in most different ways. Either cut foils, direct from the roll or already deep drawn foils are used which are then only welded in the process. The handling system is adjusted to the individual case.
